World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
The upgrading of your items is a vital part of equipping your character. Upgrades boost damage to items and enchantments.
They also provide bonus effects and improvements. They are available through the Blacksmith.
Players can recycle any item by pressing the upgrade button on it. Every item recycled adds level to the gauge of upgrade.
Weapons
When an item is upgraded, it gains an initial damage bonus, as well as a scaling factor that can affect other stats. Certain upgrade components have cosmetic effects and others provide additional attributes. These upgrades can be added to weapons, armors, trinkets and gathering tools. The majority of them require that the equipment has an upgrade slot and meets certain requirements. The upgrade component can be removed from the weapon, armor, or trinket, but it is not replaced. (Except for legendary equipment). Upgrade components can be found through the Black Lion Salvage Kit, Ascended Salvage tool, or a high-tier salvaging tool on an item.
A weapon can also be upgraded to include a calibration attribute that improves certain stats, like Weakspot damage or Crit Rate. This is accomplished through the Gear Workbench interaction menu. This can be done four times, based on weapon level.
When the weapon is at maximum upgrade, it can be rebuilt using a variety of different types of upgrades to increase specific stats or add other bonuses and effects. These upgrades can be used simultaneously and the effects differ based on how rare the weapon is.
Two Blacksmiths are able to perform these upgrades in the game: Blacksmith Iji on the Road to the Manor Site of Grace and Smithing Master Hewg at the Church of Elleh hub. Both require different upgrade materials: Smithing Stones for standard weapons and Somber Smithing Stones to alter the damage a weapon can cause.
In general, it is advised to improve weapon damage first, then armour defense, and then the other secondary stats that are required by your build. It is not uncommon to see melee Druids upgrade their weapon before upgrading other gear. item upgrading can help increase DPS. This is particularly relevant to enchantments that can be very effective in boosting a weapon's damage and other stats.
Armor
Item Upgrades allow players to improve the base stats of specific pieces of armor, weapons, trinkets and gathering tools. These upgrades can also have additional effects like increased damage or cosmetic enhancements. Item Upgrades are available through crafting, buying from NPC vendors, through loot drops or as rewards from quests.
The armor can be upgraded by visiting the Armorer NPC, and spending the appropriate currency. Most of the time the armor will be upgraded to the next level once an upgrade is applied. Most types of armor can be upgraded, but certain items (such as the armor used to start in Great Sky Island) cannot.
The majority of armor upgrades boost the item's defense or strength by only a tiny amount. Certain upgrade components, however can lead to significant increases in defense or strength. This is especially relevant when upgrading epic items.
Certain upgrades grant special abilities which can be activated while wearing armor. These abilities can be very useful in combat. For example they can increase attack speed or block. Some upgrades also provide useful passive effects, for instance cutting down on the amount of damage that is taken while wearing armor or granting a chance to dodge attacks.
Based on the type of armor being used, upgrading an item could require multiple tries. If a player wishes to upgrade Steelclash armor to Dragonscale, then the first attempt will result in a new Dragonscale armor that has an armor base defense of 59-67. The second attempt will result in a Dragonscale armor that has the base defense of 67-77.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild lets players to upgrade their armor sets to level 4. To upgrade their armor, players must visit the four Great Fairy Fountains found in the game. Each of these locations has a fair with a great power that can upgrade a piece of armor for you.
Contrary to popular belief armor isn't useless in The Division 2. The reality is that some armors provide significant increases in poison, curse, fire or magic damage reduction, making them invaluable for specific builds. There are other ways to increase the strength of armor apart from upgrading armor, such as using the engineer trait to increase armor penetrating or the challenger trait to decrease total weight.
Potion
A potion can be upgraded by putting it in a brewing stand to unlock new effects. The upgrade unlocks a new tier of potion effects, and can be repeated to increase the potency.
The potion also gains a custom color code which the player can choose by using /give. This can affect the area-of-effect clouds as well as arrows produced by the potions. In Bedrock Edition, the custom color code of the potion is also applied to the effects of the potion's particle effects.
The water bottle, mundane thick and awkward potions now have a new brewing texture. Add potion of weakness and healing potion to the Creative inventory. In addition, there are lingering potions that can be prepared using splash potions or Dragon breath. Also added is a thick potion which has the status effect of Mining Fatigue. Trinket
A trinket is a small, inexpensive ornament or piece of jewelry. It could be a necklace or ring. It could also be a small banner that marks the yard of a boat. It could also refer to a gold-plated trinket on the mast of a ship.
This macabre trinket seems to be influencing the residents of this maze and making them more popular. At the moment, this trinket makes all types of mimic Xx more popular, and gives each floor an X% chance to have an ebony mimic. Upgrades to this trinket cost a small amount of energy.
The enchanted Scepter's magic appears to alter the dungeon's environment and increase the likelihood of generating water and grass. This trinket at the moment, will cause X% of the regular floors to be filled with grass or water. It will not alter glyphs, enchantments, cursed armor or weapons, or items that are generated to aid in the elimination of the dangers in rooms.
This item, which appears like a newt's eyes, seems to affect your vision in a manner that goes beyond merely decreasing your field of view. At the present time, this trinket increases the overall health of the drinkers of healing, waterkins, and wells of health by X% and grants mind vision on enemies within the Y tiles. This trinket cannot be combined with the Increased Senses.
After completing the Mastery Cave, you can find Trinkets by beating Monsters and inside crates and chests in Skull Cavern. They are not found in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.
When you find a trinket that needs to be upgraded then place it in the Anvil to do so. This will have a random effect on the trinket, either extending its lifespan or strengthening its effects. You can reforge a Trinket as many times as you like, but it will always have a different effect than the one that it had when you first made it.
You can also upgrade your Trinkets at the Alchemy Station by placing them into the Magical Catalyst. It will cost you 6 energy and increase the power of the trinket by a small amount.
